Welcome to another summer on Bad Axe Lake!!

Many of us have made our way up to beautiful northern Minnesota the last few weekends to open up the cabin and put the dock and boat in the water. Now if the weather will keep cooperating, then summer will be grand.

The annual spring get-together will be on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend (May 27th). We will meet at Sue and Jim Pickus’s around 10:00 a.m. We are on the west side of the lake. Go 1.9 miles north of Emmaville. Take a right onto Jigsaw Drive and follow the road in 1.2 miles. Go down the little s-curve and when you come to the log cabin on the road, you are there. Come to catch up with everyone and eat some treats. Feel free to bring your weekend guests also.

A couple of other items to bring to your attention. First, the 2007 annual meeting and picnic is scheduled for Saturday, August 4th. Location and agenda will be sent at a later date. The second item is about the annual dues for the association. At the bottom of this page is a tear off slip. Write your name and other appropriate information in the spaces and send it to me at the address found below(or give it to me directly). Dues are again $15.00 plus $3.00 for each motorized boat. Please have these dues to me by June 15th.

Also, if you have been trying to get ahold of me through my old email address you have probably been getting a mail damion. Jim and I moved and did not set up email at our new location. We also gave up our land line and have gone hi-tech and only have cell phones now (see the RSVP below).
